A series on the Beatitudes: Matthew 5:1-12

Purpose: Making Disciples for Jesus 
Mountain View Baptist Church is focused on changing lives in this community and the world by making disciples for Jesus.

You may ask "How Do You Plan to Do That?" which leads to our process, 
another very simple idea!
Process: Love God through worship (Celebrate)
Love others by doing life together (Connect) and
Serve God by serving others through ministry/missions (Contribute)

How do we celebrate? We love God through real authentic worship.  It is not about presentation, style, or format.  It is about each person connecting with God in such a way that even non-believers see our real relationship with Him. All of our music ministries will focus on leading us to worship. Messages are Biblically centered with a practical application for daily life.

How do we connect? The best way to do life together is through small groups who pray, play, grow, and serve together.  The Bible calls this "Koinonia". Our Sunday Morning Bible Studies for adults and Sunday School for youth, children, and preschoolers help us to do this in relaxed and positive, age-appropriate settings.

How do we contribute? God has provided ample opportunities to be involved in serving Him. This begins with serving Him through the local church.  We ask that every member serve God in some way at MVBC.  Then it spreads outward to our community and the world.  Our 'On Mission Team' leads our church to see the opportunities we have to implement the Acts 1:8 Challenge outside of our walls. We also have a heart to be a "church planting" church.

Our church is a warm and loving church, and we want you to feel comfortable and at liberty to call on us for anything you need. Feel free to browse through the various areas of our website and learn about our fellowship.

Our church is a part of the Southern Baptist denomination.  We ascribe to the simple church concept of focusing everything toward our main goal which is: changing lives in this community and the world by making disciples for Jesus.
