Judy and her husband Bob moved to Tucson in 1997. A year later Judy joined the team at Mountain View. Judy has a Bachelor's Degree in Home Economics from NorthWest Missouri State University with a secondary Ed. Teaching Credential. She has, in the past, been an Elementary Teacher, a Home Economist with the Extension Service, and the Director of a non-profit day care center.
Bob and Judy have three children, all grown and out of the house. They love to visit their children but enjoy their "empty nest" also. Their oldest child, Rob, lives in Eugene, OR with his two little boys (Bob and Judy's special grandchildren) Matthew and David. Rob is a 3rd grade teacher in an elementary school. Their middle child, Leslee, lives and works in Beaverton, OR as a middle school teacher. Their youngest child, Alicia, lives in Three Points, AZ with her husband and works as a teacher there.
When Judy's not working at the church or relaxing at home, she and Bob are volunteers with FamilyLife Conferences, an affiliate of Campus Crusade for Christ. FamilyLife puts on marriage conferences, called Weekend to Remember, all across the country. Judy and Bob are part of the team that works on the Tucson conference, which is held each June. Judy enjoys her marriage to Bob and believes that her husband is a gift from God to treasure. She believes that godly marriages provide a foundation, not only for children and the family, but for the church, and to provide a strong responsible citizenry for the country. Therefore she is "all about" supporting marriages and families.
Judy enjoys her work here at Mountain View and has made many good friends. She plans to continue working at the church for as long as God allows - and prays that will be a long time!!
