Kids Ministry
3 Months Old - Sixth Grade
KIDS MINISTRY AT MVBC
At Mountain View Baptist Church, our kids (3-months-old through 6th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.
We would love to see you and your family!
YOUR FIRST VISIT
Here's what to expect when visiting Mountain View's kids ministry for the first time:
During your first visit, we will meet your family, check your child into our system and then one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.
Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):
-
Parent/guardian name(s)
-
Child's name
-
Child's birthdate
-
Home address
-
Phone number
-
Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children

If you plan a visit with us, you can accelerate the check-in process on Sunday morning by providing some of this information in advance.
HOW CHECK-IN WORKS

Before Service: You can check-in your child at the counter found in our multipurpose building (there is a large banner that says Kid's Ministry). After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag. A kids' ministry volunteer will escort your child into their age appropriate classroom.
After Service: After the worship hour is complete, you will return to the kids' counter and your child will be released to you.
During Service: In the event that we need to contact you during worship, we will contact you via call or text. We ask that you exit the worship center immediately and head to the kids' counter where you will be directed to your child's classroom. In the event, we cannot reach you via call or text, one of our volunteers will personally seek you out in the worship service.

PARENTS' VIEWING ROOM
Mountain View offers childcare during both the 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. hours. If you and your family are worshipping with your infant and you feel the need to have a quieter and more secluded area, you can move over to the atrium of our multipurpose building. Inside, we stream a live broadcast of the worship celebration to the TVs and projector in that room at a quieter volume. There are many chairs and tables where you can sit.
MEET OUR KIDS DIRECTOR
