SERVE AT MOUNTAIN VIEW
Worship Team | Sunday morning
Play an instrument or sing during the Sunday morning worship service. Be available for practice. All services are livestreamed. Volunteers must be church members.
Student Ministry | Sunday 9 a.m. and Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
Get to know the amazing students in our middle and high school ministry. For the midweek gathering, volunteers may help lead small groups and games. On Sunday morning, volunteers have an opportunity to teach students during the 9 a.m. Sunday school hour. Lessons are provided. Volunteers also have opportunities to participate in regular events, retreats and camps. Volunteers must be church members and undergo a background check.
Kids Ministry | Sunday 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
At 9 a.m., volunteers help in areas including the welcome desk, babies, preschool, grades 1 through 3 and grades 4 through 6. During the 10:30 a.m. service, you can help in the same positions, except that the elementary-school grades are combined for a kids worship service. Positions are on a rotation to work once a month. Volunteers should be prepared to read the lesson during the week and love on the kids. Supplies are provided. Volunteers must be church members and undergo a background check.
AWANA | Wednesday 6:30 p.m.
Every Wednesday, volunteers will work with the dozens of kids who spend the evening on our campus playing games and learning about Jesus. Roles includes listening to and signing off on Bible verses, being with clubbers at game time and greeting and engaging kids. Volunteers must be church members and undergo a background check.
Worship Tech Team | Sunday mornings
Help make the Sunday service happen. Volunteers can receive training to run sound, manage the livestream, run slides and operate the cameras during the Sunday morning service. Be available for the worship team practice.
Cafe and Donuts | Sunday mornings
The sweetest volunteer opportunity around. Cafe duties include picking up donuts from the Donut Wheel at Ina Road and Interstate 10, standing behind the cafe counter from 10-10:30 a.m. and wiping down tables at the end of the fellowship time. You can commit to oversee all of this for one month at a time or just take on one or two of these responsibilities. Volunteers who pick up donuts must be church members. Other responsibilities can be fulfilled by non-members.
Greeters | Sunday mornings
Be the friendly face that welcomes everyone to church each Sunday. Greeters are the go-to people for guests and can help people find where they need to go before the 10:30 a.m. service. Volunteers must be church members.
Prayer Team | Sunday mornings
Be available during invitation times during a Sunday morning service. This means standing at the front of the worship center to offer a listening ear, encouragement and prayer to anyone who comes forward. We need three volunteers each Sunday. Volunteers must be church members and available to meet with a pastor.
Online Hosts | Sunday 10:20 a.m.
Dozens of people worship online during the Sunday service each week. Volunteers will welcome people in the chat on Church Online Platform, provide relevant links and encourage engagement among online churchgoers. Volunteers must be church members.
Photographers and Videographers | As needed
Capturing church life in photos and video is an important part of connecting and sharing with our community. Volunteers help photograph and record special events and services such as Easter, car shows, VBS, etc. (Note: This is separate from the worship tech team and the Sunday livestream).
Haggai 1:4 Facilities Team | As needed
Mountain View is blessed with a beautiful campus and facilities, but keeping it that way requires continual maintenance and upgrades. Volunteers work together on the landscaping and on special projects using their skills in electrical, plumbing, carpentry and general handyman repairs to keep our property looking good and safe.

Laundry | As needed
A church with laundry? Yep that's a thing. Take home to wash and iron the linens the church has on hand for special events and general use. Volunteers should be church members.
